Opened in 2004, Hacienda del Alamo Golf Resort is located between the city of Murcia and the port city of Cartagena and is one of the best in the area.
In a tranquil setting, Hacienda Del Alamo is an 18-hole golf course that was completed in 2006, it was designed by Dave Thomas. Although not the best known course in the area, it ranks high among the international players who play in the area with its stunning flowing fairways and challenging greens.
The course is from the back tee one of Spain's longest. Like many other courses in Murcia and Cartagena, it is a described as a desert course. Lush Green fairways and greens with unforgiving out of bounds areas. Precision Golf is key.
Facilities include a training area, six short practice holes where you can practice without going out on the golf course as well as areas allocated for short shots.
There are also eight lakes along the length of the Hacienda del Alamo golf course, making the course more beautiful and holes like the 8th, 10th and 12th quite impressive.
It is an open golf course with large greens protected by water or bunkers.
The signature hole is either 8 or 9. This golf course has all the qualities of a championship golf course.
